Snúhgie
robstocks (also know as Snúhgie) is an award-winning singer, songwriter, record producer and multi-musician. He is a member of The DC Chapter of The Recording Academy and President & CEO of Rhythmic Sounds. He is as versatile as he is talented and celebrates the responsibilities and freedoms of being an independent artist. Snúhgie has a philosophy of timeless music that has been consistent from the moment he fell in love with his uncle’s vinyl collection as a kid.
A native of Washington DC and Alumni of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, robstocks has a passion for music education and served as a mentor for several GRAMMY U affiliated young aspiring artists. He was honored by WKYS “The Fam in the Morning” for his philanthropic work and service to his community. Snúhgie has a diverse and expansive musical background ranging from his DMV hometown sound of Go-Go, Jazz and Gospel to Hip Hop, Classical and Rock. He has worked with a range of multi platinum artist from John Legend to Wynton Marsalis and has collaborated as Music Director for Ginuwine and Dawn Robinson of En Vogue. Unrestricted to one genre but often compared to the style of industry legends such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and Babyface, robstocks keeps the love and sound of classic R&B/Soul alive, while blazing a trail for new music.
